Hunstanton Double Header Weekend is returning this year for round 3 of the UK Waterski Racing Championships on the Saturday 27th - Sunday 28 Jul 2024. This popular seaside town that hosts an incredible event every year, are gearing up for another exhilarating weekend of racing action for our enjoyment! We are thrilled to be back once again. The excitement is already building for what promises to be an unforgettable event.

Friday 26th July 2023

All Day - Campers and boats may arrive at any time on Friday All Day - Scrutineering shortly after arrival by Greg Bassam or Gary Clark From 3pm – Race Registration and Waver Signing (Mandatory for all competitors. Can be done Saturday AM for those arriving late on Friday or Saturday morning)

ENTRY DEADLINE

The deadline for entries is 2 weeks before the event, 14th July 2024. Late entries, no later than 5 days before the event, is possible but will incure a fee.

CAR PARKING

With the reduced compound space there is NO available car parking in the compound.  We are currently negotiating for 20 free parking spaces for competitors 100m away at Seagate Road Car Park by kind courtesy of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk Borough Council.  However, it's a very large car park and the cost is £5 for the day.

ENTRY INFORMATION

To ensure the safety and integrity of the competition, it's imperative to highlight that all competitors, both Domestic and International, must hold valid UK Waterski Racing Memberships and licences. Kindly complete your licence application form and register your boat numbers online, accessible through the members-only area of our website. Prior to finalising your licence application, participants aged 16 and above are required to complete the Competitors Safety Test online, as part of our enhanced safety measures.

Please note the following important deadlines:

• The deadline for UK Waterski Racing Memberships and Licences (for previous full licence holders) is 5 days before the event, with the cutoff being the 22nd of July. Registrations will not be accepted on the day of the event.
• New drivers, observers, or skiers seeking to participate must contact us as soon as possible for necessary training and assessments. Registration for novices cannot be accommodated within a week of the event or on the day itself. To avoid missing out, please complete the form promptly: Novice Registration Form.

Furthermore, we extend our invitation to volunteers interested in contributing to the success of the event. All volunteers are required to sign up as Free Volunteer Members on our website: Volunteer Membership Registration.

It's essential to note that while UK Waterski Racing oversees the organisation of this event, we want to clarify that we are not responsible for any breaches of privacy policy, data, or GDPR regulations. Any information provided to us adheres strictly to our policies. We emphasise that only competitors who are registered UK Waterski Racing Members and licence holders will be permitted to participate in the event.

UK Waterski Racing and any organising personnel associated with the Hunstanton Team are not liable for any damage or loss incurred to your camper or vehicle while parked at the designated campsite. This disclaimer applies to all attendees, including but not limited to campers, spectators, and participants. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and security of your belongings. While we strive to maintain a safe and secure environment, we cannot guarantee the protection of personal property. We encourage all attendees to take necessary precautions to safeguard their possessions. By parking your camper or vehicle at the campsite, you acknowledge and accept that UK Waterski Racing personnel are not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that may occur.
